Taylor conducts day field trips for groups on the different barrier islands and in the Okefenokee Swamp. He gives slide presentations on a variety of subjects: barrier islands dynamics, salt marshes, behavior of beaches including the effects of seawalls, jetties and other shoreline engineering, and the Okefenokee Swamp. Each talk is especially crafted to age levels and interests of each group. Some groups want the presentations to center on certain subjects, such as, birds, plant life, geology, and man’s impacts on the coast, which he arranges to accommodate those special interests.
